A Court Of Wings And Ruin

"We're all a broken, in our own ways - In places no one might see."

~Sarah J. mass

This is the third book in the YA fantasy series. Last year after reading the court of mist and fury, I thought this series couldn't get better but Sarah J. Mass proved me wrong. The first book is Beauty and the Beast retelling but you can barely notice the similarities. And the second one is inspired from Hades and Persephone.I loved the second one, first one was quite unsatisfactory, but she nailed this book(which was supposed to be finale) in every aspect.

I will leave the spoilers. But we see more character arc in Feyre. And we get introduced to many new characters. Also all the High lords of all the courts are shown in full fledged glory. And I quiet liked most of them. The story progress with strong lead without getting boring or bleak.

This book is completely action packed fantasy. The world built right from the first book. The characters are deep with good background stories. The plot is great. There are still some unnecessary scene and cringe worthy love scenes, but the story and writing make it up for all of it. The chemistry between the Feyre and Rhys is perfect.

I loved this book. Even the most anticipated war is nevertheless satisfying. This is one of those unputdownable books. And it's the only YA fantasy series I liked of all the books I have tried. Also an interesting fact:- this is the only 2017 released book I have read this year. No doubt this book has won goodreads choice award.
PS:- Also two more sequels are coming in 2019 and 2021 respectively. So cheers.

The ending also hold strong (Leaving some unnecessary scenes).

Verdict:-

4.5💣💣💣💣
This book is going to make you fell for it either YA is your genre or not. As the guy who is not a fan of contemporary novels, i liked it. So i recommend you give it a try. You will either love it or hate it. There is no in between.
